In February, I had the opportunity to coordinate a Styled Bridal Shoot. The purpose of a styled shoot is to get amazing bridal pictures for your portfolio. All of the vendors donate their services in exchange for beautiful pictures to add to their website and marketing materials. I had the privilege of coordinating this event. I started by picking a venue, we wanted this shoot to have an upscale, classy, dramatic theme. So I chose Ambassador Mansion in Pasadena. The next step was to assemble the best team possible. The bride and groom, Kelly and Anthony are models and were so kind to donate their time. The photos were shot by the amazing Michael Anthony Photography. Event Design, Florals and Stationary was done by Celebrate. The dress was provided by Cruz's Bridal and the Tux was from Tuxedo Review. Hair was done by Perfect Day, Perfect Hair and Make -up was done by All Dolled Up Beauty Lounge! The gorgeous chandelier cake was done by Jill's Cake Creations and the Rentals were provided by AV Party Rental and A1 Event Rental.
Josh and Veronica's Wedding was so beautiful and full of love. Both bride and groom come from such great families and were such a pleasure to work with!
We started the day taking pictures at the beautiful CSUN Campus. We started with the first look photos of the bride and groom and then took group shots of the bridal party and family.
After the photos, half of our staff went over to the Ceremony Site to Coordinate the walk down the aisle while the other half went to the Reception Site to start setting up. It is always important for your coordinator to bring assistants so that they can devide and concor. Another example of that was when the brides lipstick got on the grooms white shirt during picturs. I was able to run to Target to get some Tide To Go while my assisant was able to stay and superviser the photos.
After hours of setting up, the banquet hall looked gorgeous! We hung twinkle lights all over the room, put votives on each table as well as party favors, placed cute wedding signs around the room, set up the gift table, placed the Champaign flutes on the sweetheart table, created a backdrop for the cake table and decorated the table with lights, tool, flowers, champing, cake cutting set and more. By the time we were done the room looked so beautiful! I truly loved coordinating this week and working with Josh and Veronica. Their love reminds me how much I love my job!
Lauren and Ryan got married over Thanksgiving weekend and I was excited to be their coordinator. They got married at the Old Newhall Barn which is a gorgeous and private venue in Santa Clarita. Since it was a fall wedding, the theme followed suit. They had an adorable hot chocolate and hot apply cider station as well as served pies for dessert. This was a beautiful wedding and I wanted to share pictures with all of you.
The Santa Clarita Wedding Professionals is a united group of the most accomplished and sought after wedding vendors in Southern California. Together, they form a unique network providing access to a wide variety of services in every stage of planning.
I have watched and admired this group for many years. They put on several events in the community such as Evening with the Pros and The White State. They are also always apart of the Belissima Bridal Show. The vendors in this group are the best of the best and I have watched them all do incredible work.
I recently applied to be part of this prestigious group. I visited the group twice and gave a presentation about my business. I was so overjoyed to find out that I was accepted to the group by a unanimous vote!
I am so excited to be working with such a great group wedding professionals and I look forward to seeing all of our businesses grow to the next level!
